Some of The Jet Jotter’s favorite art from from this month

Titled: “Always With You.” “The majority of my art is very autobiographical in nature but this is one of my most blatant self-portraits. I paid more attention than usual to make myself recognizable to whoever saw this, while still exaggerating my features so that the dysmorphia I have towards myself will make itself known. I use art to explore my relationship with myself, body and mind. Art is very therapeutic for me, and I enjoy confronting the aspects of myself that I like the least.”

This piece is called “Pacific” I made it using a technique called acrylic pouring. My concentration is based around water and I tried to create the illusion of water in this piece.

Titled: “A Moment of Summer.” “This piece spawned from an idea I envisioned and my love of drawing jeans and people. I posed myself and strategically left out a head and legs as I wanted to focus on the pose and clothing. This picture was taken at the end of the summer and when I look at it, the piece reminds me of that warm evening in the summer where I posed in my back yard.”

Title: Boston Bruins 2020 Stanley Cup “I made it because I love hockey and I believe that the Bruins will win the Stanley Cup this year(2020). I also thought that making the Stanley Cup would be a good challenge for me. It means a lot. I spent a couple months working on it and it represents my prediction that the Bruins will win the Stanley Cup. If they do end up winning the Stanley Cup then my Stanley Cup recreation will be priceless to me.”

Titled: “The Road To…” “This is a very rural road through the Great Plains, and I tried to convey the feeling of uncertainty and certainty in the same picture.”
